ECS™ Uses:
Lightweight Casevac System
BCS™ can be carried in a standard PLCE pouch. Material is ripstop nylon. Tactically almost silent in use. Low weight approx 980gm.
Compressible Casevac System
BCS™ can be compressed right down to fit into the smallest possible space. for extreme portablity. Takes up approx same space as a bag of sugar. Can also be carried in Section kit or troop-carrying vehicle as part of its medical kit.
Adventure Training
BCS™ can be supplied in various colours for civilian-based training requirements. MLC trainers can carry BCS™ variant as part of trg equipment. BCS™ variant is ideal for cold weather (arctic) use.
Special Forces (SF)
Multipurpose design of BCS™ can be adapted for SF use: as part of discrete team or individual. first aid equipment. Specific variants can be designed and supplied for in-theater role. TAG, SWAT and Speciality teams can order BCS™ in black.
Multi-theatre Capability
BCS™ can be adapted for all theatres, including hot weather (desert), cold weather (arctic) and jungle.
- Limited-space rescue and casevac - mines/tunnels/caves etc
-
| To help with evacuation of casualties in mines, tunnels, caves and other difficult to reach places.
|
- Urban casevac - high buildings/stairwells - Health & Safety
-
| For professional rescue (fire fighters, civil defence, etc) the ECS™ can be added to the list of life-saving equipment. The ECS™ can be used to carry casualties in a sitting position. This makes high building evacuation easier. |
- Pre-positioned Casualty Evacuation System
-
| If proposed H&S protocols are initiated, then managers of buildings above a certain height that must have a casevac capability are able to specify the ECS™ as a pre-positioned safety item. Integrated within a Civil Defence standardisation programme, the ECS™ could become a prime part of rescue apparatus. |
- Offshore Installations
-
| Similar to the urban casevac, as there are many stairs, turns and difficult-to-reach places in marine and offshore environments, the ECS™ is a prime contender for this sector. |
- Mass Casualty Evacuation System disaster relief/earthquake/famine etc
-
| The ECS™ can be safely air dropppedinto difficult-to-reach areas where there are large numbers of injured to remove from danger, i.e. earthquake, flood, etc. It is simple to use and can be provided with multi-language/pictogram instructions for world-wide use. NGOs can pre-position their stocks of ECS™ where they might be needed. |
