The BCS™ is small enough to fit into many standard military equipment pouches and it weighs less than one kilogram. It can easily be carried by assault troops not only giving medical staff the means to immediately evacuate any wounded personnel but also the confidence to the soldiers that their well-being has been considered, thus allowing both elements to carry out their role more effectively.

The design of the BCS™ enables a casualty to be carried and evacuated down the medical chain while still inside the casualty envelope, thus reducing further trauma involved in using different modes of transport. Replenishment is simple as the BCS™ air-drop safe and can be delivered by low-level overflight, making it ideal for rapid deployment and mass-casualty situations where poor infrastructure makes it difficult for conventional logistic supply.

It is ideal as part of a standard vehicle medical kit, for both military and civilian rescue organisations.
